## Job Summary
Ensures the University Center is unlocked and opened on time according to the building operating hours, ensures all appropriate building lighting is turned on, perform general cleaning task; set and strike equipment and furnishings; set, adjust, and strike audio/visual equipment, use of portable and in-room sound systems, maintain cleanliness of equipment and conference rooms.
## Responsibilities*
1. Unlock all appropriate building exterior doors, interior doors, turn on appropriate building and stairway lighting
2. Transport, set-up, remove, and storage of equipment and furnishings.
3. Maintain floor surfaces in all conference rooms, staging areas, and break room by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
4. Clean tables and chairs.
5. Cleaning walls, windows, ceilings, etc.
6. Remove and dispose of trash from all conference rooms, storerooms, and break room.
7. Transport, setup, removal, and storage of audio/visual equipment.
8. Learn and operate the portable sound systems.
9. Assist customers with computers and in-room sound systems used in meeting spaces.
10. Attend monthly setup team meetings.
## Required Qualifications*
1. Minimum one full semester of employment in EBS as a setup team member.
2. Ability to perform manual labor with a high degree of efficiency.
3. Ability to recognize and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation.
4. Ability to use cleaning equipment and cleaning supplies properly and effectively.
5. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
6. Willingness to complete a variety of tasks.
7. Use initiative in all aspects of the position including but not limited to setups and cleaning.
8. Ability to recognize items in and around the building that need repair, including but not limited to departmental equipment.
9. Experience working in a team setting.
## Desired Qualifications*
Ability to work some weekends.
